Sun Wind Water

Passive energy, power from the sun wind and water, all these elements are readily available 

Water

Pacific sun friends has been setting an example since 1978, Water on the property comes from bores and dams, they are filled from springs, this water is pumped by  windmills into high filters, where it siphons from one filter to another until it reaches a water storage tank, all the tanks on the property are the same height at the top and the water flows to outlet taps for use through the park. (the filters are special foam which takes excess iron from the water)

Sun

Solar hot water systems are installed on each amenity block and our house.

Solar electricity runs our house without the assistance of mains power, there is 32 panels on a tracker which charge 96 /2 volt cells, these battery banks run an invertor boosting the power from 24 volts dc to 240 volts ac. 

Wind

The cells are also charged by a wind generator which is 80 feet high. The tower is constructed of 2 round poles the first in the ground is 60 feet and the second is attached to the side of the first and extending to 80 feet the second pole can lower to the ground for easy working on the generator.
