Pacific Sun Friends

clothing optional campground

Here at Pacific Sun Friends, you will find peace & contentment within oneself; within the naturist lifestyle where we relish the energy & beauty of Mother Nature.

Since 1978 we have greeted people from around the world to our clothing optional campgrounds located in a small hidden pocket of Donnybrook Queensland, in the Moreton-Bay Region. We are a nature-lovers paradise with an abundance of bird life,  enjoying the sunshine and the shade of the trees; always with bare feet, to connect us to the energy of our Earth.

When people discover the free feeling of being nude, they wonder why they didn’t explore this lifestyle sooner. Many visit us as non-nudists, however with an open mind you allow yourself to explore an alternative to life’s clothed camping experience.

We are a relaxed bunch. Clothed or not, we do not judge. We camp. We swim. We play cricket & mini-ten. We bush walk. We cook on the BBQ. We dance. We do it all – just nude.

It is not what you look like that matters; only how we treat each other. Here you will find friends you have not yet met; meet new friends of friends you already know and have a laugh with old friends’ time & time again.

Finding a balance in the craziness of the world today can be somewhat challenging as is the possibility of change but a challenge can help us grow. And whilst we may enjoy what we have achieved in the world of man-made; it is important to harmonise with nature and connect to the energy of what surrounds you.

From the 11th March 2024 Pacific Sun Friends were notified by Local Council that we could no longer have dogs/cats within our campgrounds.

The ONLY exception to this rule, is when Certified Documentation can be shown, confirming the animal is for Assistance or Therapy reasons.

We at PSF do this in the best interests of the park if we are to continue to operate. We realise this is upsetting however we must abide by the Moreton Bay Council.

Activites for Any Age

Young or old, our bushwalking tracks provide the opportunity to explore the grounds.

Stop in at a beach or two along our tidal Elimbah Creek;

all whilst listening to the birds nestled in the trees.

To explore the creek further, you may like to drop in a kayak or try a spot of fishing;

even take a quick dip yourself.

If you like to keep dry, we have Chip-Putt Golf, Mini-Ten, Petanque and Lawn Bowls

although it can be a little bumpy… Ha! Ha!

Our Facilities

We offer basic facilities. Campgrounds with open grassy sites to enjoy the sun or shade.

There are two (2) amenity blocks, both with toilets and hot showers.

We have a small camp kitchen with a fridge that is available to all of our guests.

Our multi-functional Club Hut is next to the camp kitchen.

It is here we hold paid or free events both small & large with a seating capacity of up to 100 guests.

And if the sun or stars turns to rain, covered seating is arranged.
